Contributor’s Agreement

The following statement outlines the agreement between “Bartlett’s” and editorial contributors who are willing to make regular (monthly) contributions to its website. This is a non-binding agreement that constitutes a professional relationship between “Bartlett’s” and “the contributor” for the promotion of common and similar interests. Either party may terminate this relationship at anytime, without cause or justification.

In order to take part in this offer, “the contributor” agrees to make regular contributions to “Bartlett’s.” “Regular contributions” are defined as a monthly contribution of 500-1,500 word feature article, news story, or media reviews.  These contributions are to follow a schedule provided by “the contributor” and agreed to by “Bartlett’s” editor.

If your piece is accepted for publication, “Bartlett’s” acquires the non-exclusive, one-time publications rights and the right to retain this material in our archives on this site. As the author, you continue to own the rights to your “work” and are free to continue to license or sell this work elsewhere after the first month of publication with “Bartlett’s.”

In exchange for their regular contributions, “Bartlett’s” offers “contributors” the following:

•    Listing in our Contributors Page including links and photos
•    Free listings in our Professional Directory
•     Free listings of “the contributor’s” events on our Events Calendar
•     Inclusion in our newsletter, special offers, events, products, and our news feed distributed via various social media platforms
•     A 50 percent discount on all advertising

If you would like to contribute to “Bartlett’s,” please email our editor/publisher, Mark Saunders.
